After retiring from medicine, Ben entered the public sector and served as the
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under the Trump administration. He was responsible for helping millions of blacks own affordable housing by successfully promoting self-sufficiency and reducing oppressive regulations.
Ben received many awards for public service, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
His vision and commitment to education inspired the creation of a new enterprise to influence our children’s knowledge of our great history.
The American Cornerstone Institute advances the principles that our nation was founded on: Faith … Community… Life… Liberty. These core values should be taught in our schools, as they were in the past, as Civics and History courses.
