Ben has exceptional eye-hand coordination (“Gifted Hands”) and 3-dimensional reasoning skills that made him a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon. He performed the first successful surgery to separate twins joined at the head.
Ben developed complicated procedures to prevent severe bleeding during surgery, that he utilized to save hundreds of children with Epilepsy. He never forgot his childhood and what he had accomplished in the country he loves.
His story gives hope to black youth growing up in poverty, that they too can dream.
